How would Mrs. Palin handle her daughter's pregnancy, if she were liberal instead of conservative?

I'm guessing it would have gone something like this:

"What the h**l do you mean, you're pregnant??? Well, you have your future to worry about -- and I have my political career to protect from embarrassment.

"So, here's what's gonna happen -- you're not saying ONE WORD about this to ANYONE.

"And, first thing Thursday morning, we're going to Planned Parenthood and we're having this thing 'taken care of,' if you know what I mean.

"And if you don't like it, well .... that's just the way it goes!"

Am I too far off here? I don't believe I am.

Your idea would only work if her daughter was also a liberal AND did as her mother said.   However since she got PG,  I doubt she does what her mother says.   She is going to keep the baby no matter what and if she has to go on welfare,  well that is the liberal way.

I happen to know a woman who forced her 14 year old daughter to get an abortion.  She told her that she was too young to be a grandmother and that she was ending it.  Thats been about 17 years now and the woman hasnt seen her daughter since she moved out.  This woman is a hard left wing liberal and feels that Roe v. Wade is one of the greatest accomplishments of the 20th century.  Her daughter is a very bitter married mother of 2 now.

You are a bit off the mark, actually.  An enlightened liberal would have assured that the pregnancy didn't happen by teaching the teen daughter the proper use of birth control.  She could have taken her to Planned Parenthood for this valuable information.
