  1. Sonny Liston isn't in the same class of fighters as those listed here.

    Blog, I know you are not a Tyson fan, but I can't see (a pre-douglas) Tyson NOT beating Liston to the punch.  I don't care for Tyson, but I think an early KO would be the case.

    Liston loses all these fights.  He would go rounds with Tunney, but I don't think it would be very competitive.


  2. I rekon only mike but i know your probaly one of he's fans but mike would lose he's lost to evander lenix buster douglas evander again and in 2005 the others have good records

    P.s i meant he would only beat mike sonny would beat mike but not the rest

  3. I disagree with all these people. Liston would have stopped all of them except maybe Gene Tunney who was an excellent boxer. Forgetting the Ali fights and the suspiscious nature in which ali won them (espescially the second fight), Liston was a force to be reckoned with. His power was immense, even his jab was able to put people on their pants. Look at what a hard hitting heavyweight like George Foreman did to Frazier. Listin also had a solid chin so he could have taken a punch from any of the above. he would not have been intimidated by Tyson and we all know how Tyson fared against those who stood up to him. All those fighters were great, but I think people forget how good Liston was due to the fights with Ali.

  5. Sonny Liston would knock them all out.  Unless its a young Mike Tyson. Then Mike in 3.

  6. Liston would do well against Tyson and Tunney, he would be in over his head with Marciano, Dempsey and Frazier.
