My husband and I have differing opinions on what this is asking. Please let me know your thoughts on what you think would be the appropriate way to answer?

I agree, the wording of the question is a little confusing.

If what was meant was, "List experiences managing a project from a standpoint of working with outside vendors," that would make more sense.

I would think that most projects are either going to be managed internally, by a company's own staff, or by outside vendors.

If you cannot obtain clarification on this, I'd assume they mean working with outside vendors. I'd take into account some of the following issues:

1. Estimating and Bid Process

2. Establishing Time Lines

3. Outlining the Approval Process

4. Managing Quality Control

5. Product/Project Delivery

6. Invoicing

7. Follow-up and Feedback to improve the process
