How would YOU get rid of a 5 yr. old boy?

Me and my cousin have tried everything. running away from him, telling him he's too young for us, and every excuse they made in the book. (going to dinner, going to bathroom, etc..) but he still chases us on his bike. He's this 5 year old boy on our street, (neighbour) and sometimes gets a possy, because their are other kids his age on the street. Theirs 2 of us, and about 4 or 5 of them. How do we get rid of him without seriously hurting his feelings?

He's only chasing you because you are running from him. Stop running from him, even let him "hang out" with you and bore him to death!

Here are some ideas for you:

Try reading mushy poetry, not anything remotely interesting.

Look at extremely girly magazines while he's following you.Point out especially girly parts and ask what he thinks about it.

Start asking him about politics.

Tell him that you and your cousin have cooties.

Stare off into nothingness.

Spit near him.I did that to this very annoying eleven y/o boy.He screamed.I laughed.

If nothing else works, tell his mom and the posses' moms also.

Hon, how old are you?   He is too young to be riding all over the neighborhood, so maybe try talking to his mom and explaining that you're afraid he's going to get hurt by following you. Otherwise if she doesnt care where he goes...children are best ignored if you want them to go away. Ignore them completely and they'll go away.

Set out some time to play with him for like an hour or so then say you have to go and you'll play with him tomorrow. Thats easy and nice :)
