How would a cold-military war with Russia effect the NHL?

Question

Alot of players playing in the USA from Russia aren't citizens. Things aren't going to get peachy between us and them and it seems like their things are getting worst with them ignoring the UN cease fire. Now add the fact we are building a Missile defense system in Europe that they don't like, and they really didn't like us airlifting Georgian troops. So if a cold war-military war comes abound or if there is some kind of action, what happens to these players?
