How would a person with very little royal blood become King?

You see I have very little royal blood in me, but it would take many people to die in order to become king of England, I'm just saying that I'm not the type of guy who would want to kill anyone for that title

You could marry a queen/crown princess.. it wouldn't give you the title "king" but only "prince consort".. the feeling, however, would probably be close.

being the king sucks. so i suggest you to call the tabloids and say: queen's cousin lives in this adress -type your adress here- and he is causing scandals. you'd be more famous then the queen herself and will be able to hang out with celebs.

I really don't think you would want the job anyway. It might be nice to live in palaces, but you wouldn't be able to call your life your own. Your time would be scheduled for years in advance, and every tiny thing you did would be analysed mercilessly in the press. Not to mention having a camera shoved up your nose every time you stepped outside.

That's exactly how you would get it though ~ not by killing people, lol, but by having a lot of people die ahead of you in the 'line' of succession.

However, I believe that before they resorted to picking out people who are 125th generation descendants of the king's cousin, they woudl probably look around for a suitable royal person with some tie to the country in question and invite them to become king or queen.

This is the procedure that was followed when William of Orange was invited to become king of England.

Generally, people seem to like someone who is definitely 'royal' to be the king or queen.

But who knows ... maybe you'll get lucky :-)
