How would a scholarship help you?

ok.im goin to high school next month and im in a international Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme .

its the best in the high school cause you get a scholarship duh.=)

but like how would it help you.

please help me!=]

Well a scholarship would help tuition costs, and room and board, and books, and food, and a laptop.

Is this a school you have to pay for? If you got a scholarship, you most likely wouldn't have to pay it back. Or do they offer you scholarships for college after you graduate? That would be very helpful, because college is expensive and a scholarship you wouldn't have to pay back unlike student loans.
