Question:

How would an english student go to an american univeristy?

If I've chosen to take Biology, Psychology, Sociology & English Literature for my A Levels, but I wanted to go to University in America to study either psychology or journalism (havent decided yet) how would I go about it? Can english students go to an american university as I would like to? Or is it not possible =S

Its not for a while now but I'd like to start making plans...

I'm pretty sure you can apply as any American student would.  I think if you make a list of schools you are interested in attending you can email their admissions office directly and they can tell you what exactly you need to apply to each particular school.  Good luck.  And check out Pitzer College, while you're at it.  It's a great place!


  2. The University of North Texas can help!  We offer almost 100 Undergraudate and more than 150 Graduate programs in a variety of fields.  

    The application process for International students is pretty straightfoward.  We require an application and application fee and official academic credentials in order to make an admissions decision.  

    For students with A level or AS level exams, we grant transfer credit based on the subject and grades earned.

    If you get admitted, we will require financial documents to issue the I-20, which is what you need to get your Visa to study in the USA.

  3. you can either just apply to whatever university.....or go to a univerisity close to you and find out about their study abroad program....
