  1. Please show me a policy that uses the term act of God. You will be hard pressed to find one.

  3. "Act of God" is a legal term that generally refers to events that are outside human control.  The term has been the subject of many lawsuits and has generally come to be regarded as fairly well defined in the industry.

  4. In general, man does not make tornado's, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes.

    "acts of god" usually represent major weather related events.
