  1. Emmitt's running style wore defense's down later on in the game so he would be the closer. But saying that Walter Peyton was so good you wouldnt ever want to take him out of the game to put Emmitt in.

  2. I think walter would do great. emmit i  think would have to be more of a power back

  3. It would be great

  4. I beleive they would be great individually, but I don't believe that they would be near the backs they were if they had to settle for a rotating back type of scheme.

Walter, in my opinion, is the greatest football player to ever play the game and have the hype, media backing.  There are many unsung players whom we simply have never read about...but of the ones I have heard of, I believe Walter was the greatest.

Emmit, is right up there with Walter.  Mr. Smith was a gamer, a tough guy who could also run around you as much as he could run through you.  The best thing about Emmit was that he virtually NEVER gained negative yards.  You knew that when he got the ball he was running up field.  He was a quiet leader who lead, like Walter, with his actions on the field.

These two players have the biggest hearts and they showed it in their own ways.

Heck, the closest to this type of backfield would be the current Cowboys with Marion Barber as Emmitt and Felix Jones as Walter.

This should be fun to watch!!!
