  1. They should be quite good as they have ball handling skills, quick footwork and can jump high.

  2. no clue what your trying to say

  3. if you mean how would they do playing volleyball i would said many would do well.  physically they are similar skills of timing jumping etc.  the skills are different but many world class atheletes could excel at many sports.  i imagine kobe or lebron would be great volleyball players if they were coached well and practiced

  4. Will not work on US players because volleyball requires a lot of team work. NBA is more like superstars playing their own game instead of everyone has their specific role and stick into it. I am not saying  no team work at all in NBA, but not as much as volleyball.

  5. They would do relatively well as front-row specialists, mainly middle blockers and opposite hitters.  They may not be used to the volleyball-oriented techniques at first used to block or hit, but they could get used to it pretty quickly.

They would not, however, do well as outside hitters, liberos, or setters, as these require more forearm passing and/or hand-setting.  Hand-setting doesn't sound too tough, but it requires a very good understanding of the game to know when to set which target, how high to set to the target, when to run plays by shuffling the hitters around, etc.

To actually compete at the international level, being able to hold serve is always the key, and this mainly requires good serving, which I don't think basketball players can develop too quickly.  So basketball players can learn to get pretty competitive at certain positions pretty quickly, but they will have trouble competing at the international level.

  6. what?
