Question:

How would be a good way to begin in falconering

I'm 16 years old and I have enough money to set everything up for my falcon. But what people do I talk to to get everything started. Like who do I contact when I want to start my paperwork, or setting up my cage, or even what Falcon I should start out with.

  1. learn from a falconer. they are in the yellow books.

You must first do at least a 2 year apprenticeship with an already licensed and established falconer before you can even think about doing it on your own.  I think the age requirement is that you must be at least 18 years old to get your falconers license.  However, you may be able to start training now...you should check your local laws on this.  Here are a few helpful sites to get you started:
