How would one write/say 'I will write in English now'?

You can say Eigo de kakimasu <formal>

and it's written as "英語で書きます"

If you are writing to a Japanese friend, then you can be casual and say,

"Eigo de kaku."

英語で書く。

said 英語を書きます。is okay but which it very inappropriate.

because it means

I written by Japanese.

if you taking a closer approach and you'll see say

今は日本語にしています。

would be better 'cause it means I'm using it in English.
