how would I be able to get a parent erased from my birth certificate? and about how much would the cost be? if anyone could answer this that would be great, thanks.

With a birth certificate being a legal document stating who your birth parents are, I don't think it is possible unless that person is not your biological parent and you can prove it. That information, even if in most cases seems private to you or anyone else, is a matter of public record. This means the public has a right to view it. Therefore, I would think it would be impossible to erase, thus change, a public record. Why do you want to do this ? There must be a lot of pain and wounds there. When we do things to hurt other people we truly only hurt ourselves. So that sucks and sounds really stupid but it's true because what you put out into the world comes back to you. Anger is like a poison slowly killing you from within. It would be more worth your time to seek a counselor to help you through this and to learn to release this anger. I'm sorry things are so bad for you. My daughter is 16 and had the best relationship with her father until she was 7 and we separated. After that, he has let her down continouslyincluding choosing to do drugs over her. No one can know that pain but those who live it. It is a terrible burden to carry, I know. I see the pain in her eyes everyday. All you can do is work to heal yourself. Yes, it sucks, but I believe you can overcome this. Whether you know it or not, you have taken the first step to put this question out here and seek help in a certain form. This proves you want healing even though you might not see it yet.
