The first thing I always try is the countries yellow and white pages. With internet, nowadays you can contact peole easily (if they want to be contacted!) Then try googling the person and basciallly connect with the telephone services in Guatemala and search for a person.

Phone listings are kindof hard for Guatemala.  So many people have pre-paid cellular phones instead of home phones, and there is no directory for those.  Maybe you can place an ad in the paper at www.prensalibre.com or something if you are looking for someone specific.
