My husband bought me some white Air Force Ones, last year for my birthday. I did'nt wear them everyday but pretty often, they are VeRy comfortable!

N-E how i feel bad cause now they sit in the box in my closet, due to the bottom part of the shoe turning yellow...the top leather part still looks really good...

I was wondering does AnyOnE know how to get the bottom part white again?

  1. Comet.  :)  Make a paste with Comet cleaner, and scrub it away.   Good luck!

  2. Try a bleach pen.  Its helps you to not get bleach everywhere and be more accurate where you want it.

  3. Get an old toothbrush and a bowl. Mix baking soda & water in the bowl. Note: you are trying to make a "paste" so make sure it's thick enough. Apply it with the toothbrush to the discolored area, and let it set for a few hours. Repeat the process if necessary. If this is to difficult just scrub the rubber really well with this solution, rinse and repeat.

If this does not work, set both shoes in a flat pan with the shoes standing upright in bleach water (mostly bleach) for a few hours. But make sure the "leather part of the shoe (the line where the leather & rubber meets) stays out of the solution. The soft leather can't take the bleach, it may peel.

  4. Have you tried the Clorox bleach pen?  That might work, but I'd advise rinsing after to prevent further yellowing.
