  1. If you have her legal name and her age or any information google really helps or try looking her up on even yellow pages in the people look up. Good luck!

  2. ask if yours was an "open" adoption, with information available to you.

Do you remember your mother's real name?  You can do a search on that, as well as your original name.  Do you have any other "birth" family?  Any sibs or grandparents who might be able to help?

Be honest with your adoptive parents, they will understand your desire to know this information.

Warning:  your mother may have serious problems and she might not be all that you expect or remember.  She may have drug or other addictions, or mental illness or some other problem.  Please don't expect her to be something she is not, and don't be judgmental of her.  Try to accept and not be hurt.

  3. y would u want to find her she may not love u but if u really want to just go to the hospital u were born theyll tell u everythim=ng good luck

  4. Hire a P.I. and let him do the leg work.

  5. GO ON THE INTERNET AND THEY HAVE WEB SITE ESPECIALLY FOR THAT I THINK YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW HER FULL NAME AND IF ANY OF THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU (HER FAMILY ) THAT WILL HELP!!!!!

  6. Check and see if she has registered at any of the adoption sites looking for you. If you know the last  state she lived in see if you can find marriage information on her. Go to genealogy sites and post in the area for her surname, dont mention adoption though, just say looking for X regarding family history. Contact the agency or state office who handled your adoption and see if they have information that they can release to you. Good luck!

  7. I found my birthfather by using a people search. If you know a first and last name and a location were she might live, it's a good start.

  8. I gather from this information that you were foster care.  Go to the state and get the information.  If you have a name, use the various search engines out there.  It is my understanding that most foster to adoptions are open records.

  9. if you know her name (first and last) then go on to people search and look her up it's free and its gives the address and the phone number... that's how i found my friend after 3 yrs of not talking to her.

  10. google her name, see if anything comes up

  11. ok, they weren't FAKE parents, but adoptive parents (oy!)... Using your true name, find your birth certificate, if available. You may be able to trace her from here. Hopefully, it's an 'odd enough' name that is easy to find. Just use some caution in your approach - there's a reason she gave you up at 6, just be understand. Sadly, if someone knows of her last residence (city), check the obituiaries. I know it may not be what you want to hear (that she died), but you'll have some closure.

  12. Hmmm, well that could bed. y dont u talk to ur adopted mom or dad. i know wut its like to not see someone u love.

  13. type in your real first and last name on google, unless your fake parents changed it and never told you because they were afraid of you finding your real parents.

  14. Do you have your birth certificate? On it has your mothers name.  It usually has the address but if not just type in her name on Google.  Or maybe your parents will know more about her than you do.

  15. List your details here -

    http://www.isrr.net/registration.shtml

And check out this website for searching info -

    http://www.adoptioncrossroads.org/

It might help also if you put up what state you're looking in - and whether or not you have your mother's full name.

Post more details - then people can give you more specific help in your search.

    Good luck.

  16. I am in the process of searching too. There are alot of great sites out there. Depending on what information you know.

If you know here name go to Zabasearch.com It is a great people search site.

Otherwise you can start with the isrr. That stands for the international soundex reunion registry. It is a world wide organization that helps reunite adoptees and there birth families. There is a registration form that you fill out and send it. This is the link http://www.isrr.net/registration.shtml

Also try www.adoption.com it is a great site that has an adoption registry along with adoption forums that you can use to get more information on how to search.

All three sites are good and FREE!

    Good Luck. Hope this helps

  17. go to maps.google.com and type in her full name or her address if u know where she lives... hope i helped
