How would i go about obtaining a duplicate title for my car.?

i got the car from my sister and she got it from our grandma...we have never had the title...so how would i go about getting it.?

The person named on the title, assumedly your grandmother, would have to sign off on the title.  If she can't find it, she would have to apply for a duplicate, and then sign off on it.  You sister had no right to give it to you, since she didn't own it.
