  1. I currently work for CP Rail and they are always looking for new people, check out the website at www.cpr.ca

  2. For the United States,  Try UPRR.com,   go to employment info, then click on train service.

Think they are trying to hire over a 1000 people this year.  Most applicants have no train experience.

  3. It can be difficult because you have work with rail, expect you are jobless befofe you can walk aronud.you have to seach for work

  4. Check the Web for the rail company's employment office also inquire with the company's union for advice.

    good Luck

  5. Several of the smaller railroads in the US are having a difficult time finding qualified applicants. I have even seen some billboards on the sides of the roads advertising for workers. Starting with one of these and moving to a larger road is often the easiest route to take in the US.

  6. Get online at www.up.com, that would be a good start for the U.S. part, U.P. is hiring like crazy right now....good luck
