Contractions... Water breaks ... ready to have puppies. Sounds familiar, but why would God confuss us by making all things give birth in completely new and different ways every time??? yah

Esther. LOL  ! When temp falls below 99 expect puppies within 24 hours. A female in labor will nest, pant, & sometimes shake. Please google whelping & talk to your vet. Please have your dog spayed after this.

The momma will look around rather errtically for a suitable stop to have the puppies.

Check the temperature. When it falls below 100 you can expect pups within 24 hours.

There are two ways.  First, you can learn to speak Dog, and ask it.

Second, you can grab its tail and smell its butt.  If it smells like strawberry poptarts, it is ready to have puppy.

But this only works on girl dogs.
