How would i know what benefits i have in the military?

Hello there i have been in for a couple years now, but i have not used any of my educational benefits that i am looking to do so. How would i know if i have the GI bill or the BI Bill kicker??

where would that be located on in my contract? and would it be shown on my AKO account?

is there on online process to filling out the GI bill or is it done in school?

  1. What benefits you have is written in your contract. Ask your chain of command how to get those benefits.


  2. Just before you are discharged, you will go to a transition class. It lasts about 4 days. You will be given a number of booklets and handouts. If you want to start college courses while you're in, check with the Education office on base.
