Question:

How would i paint over termite damage?

i have old termite damage on part of a wall that extends to part of the ceiling how can i paint it to where it will not flake off because you can barely touch it and it kinda caves in we really have no money to dry wall it over so can anyone help???

  1. you might not be able to get around it...many times termite damage in sheet rock will show up to ten years after they have been exterminated, basically large areas (5 to 6 inches across) of paint breaking off exposing the damage below.  If you can carefully paint the area it may help it hold together for awhile, but due to temperature and humidity change causing expansion and contraction the breakage may still occur.
