How would i put extra speakers in the trunk of my volvo 850?

Just get a little box with like some 6x9 holes cut out or something. They only take up maybe a foot of space or so. Easy. You can get a box for however many holes you want, run an amp along the backside of it if you get enough speakers.

Speakers in the trunk will probably never sound good though. Only bass sounds the same no matter where its located. For speakers you will want an open space and it depends on where they are pointed.

I agree that the speakers would sound better inside of your car instead of in the trunk. The sound will be very muffled. but if you want to place the speakers in the trunk you need to buy an amp that will be compatable with your speakers. Then you will need to run a power wire with in line fuse to the amp from your battery to the amp, then run a ground wire from the amp to the chassis of your vehicle. You will also need to run rca cables from your radio to the amp. Then you need to find the blue wire on your stereo, this should be the remote turn on wire. You will need to splice another wire into this and connect it to your  amp but i would suggest running the remote turn on wire to a toggle switch and then to the amp, so the amp is only on when you want it on.
