How would i start acting professionally?

im 14 been in a drama group almost a year now been in a couple of plays , im quite confident on the stage but i have no idea how to start acting , ive heard u need something like headshots , portfolios and CVs for auditions but i dunno how to get them or how to get auditions in the uk

ive seen sites like star now and stage but i dont know what to do with them lol

any help would be fantastic!

Portfolio's and Head shots will be important.

A CV filled full of things related tothings you've done, such as which productions and where..

There are plenty of sites around which tell you of up coming auditions. Some are a subscription service so it'll email you when theres a role in your area.

Just keep on trying and put a whole lot of commitment into it.

Go to every audition in confidence and sell yourself to the panel.

You could look at amatuer dramatic films? Even if its a short walk on role.

The acting career is a big one to get into, there a battle fot it.

Theres no garuntee you'll get in.

You just have to be good at what you do and get noticed for being good! :)

Another good idea would be to get some lessons in dancing or singing...? I know it may sound a little strange to someone your age but these little qualities are what they look for.

There's no guaranteed way to do it but there are good standard things to do.

Get yourself into as many dramatic productions as you possibly can.

Then, if possible, get yourself an agent or into a talent agency. This might take a bit of pushing and confidence because the most likely answer you'll get, the first time you contact a talent agency, will be "no", so you just have to try again or somewhere else.

The agency should then (hopefully) push you forward and try and get you auditions.

portfolios are just records on your acting history, and headshots are just photos of you.
