  1. You gotta lose more than 30 lbs. Allen Iverson is 6'0 165lbs.

  2. At your height and weight, touching the rim requires some very powerful legs. If you have fat to lose, try to lose it and it will help immensely.

As far as training is concerned, you need to try to get your squat max up to 1.5 times your bodyweight. Again, losing weight will help alot. As your strength:bodyweight ratio increases, other types of training can become effective. Ever heard of plyometrics? How about the power clean? Go to this site http://verticalleaptraining.blogspot.com it's got great info, examples of plyometrics drills, and videos of power lifts.

  3. I want to see your legs

I don't believe you can touch the rim at 280

  4. Uh, more like 100 lbs if you are 5'10"

  5. check out what that white guy that was picked by the bucks in the first round of this years draft did.  I think his name is joe something

  6. Yeah grow another 8 inches or get a Trampoline.

  7. squats, lunges, and wall sits to strengthen your legs. you can also bend down really low and jump straight up 20 times for 2-3 sets. your legs will be sore but you will jump higher

  8. well i would have to say that the thinner and taller you would be.  the easier it would be to slam dunk a basketball. you can always lower the net also.. you may not be meant to dunk you could start off being point guard or something once you get the will to excersise you could start dunkin..

    Balliin'

  9. yea people can actually build up muscles to jump higher

  10. "I'm 5'10 and weigh 280lbs"

uhhhh...well...might want to lose a couple pounds first.

  11. you could nate robinson is 5'9 and he could dunk so maybe you could dunk!!!

  12. Do leg squats and calf raises. Or, you could just go to a court and keep trying. Eventually I think you should be able to dunk. It wouldn't hurt to lose some weight either, being lighter will help you get higher.

  13. 280...? well im sry but u gotta lose some pounds before u do the "training"
