  1. uuh I guess we would have a lot less islands... a lot... and we would probably have one huge continent... forgot what it was called... the weather would be different.... hmm thats all I can think off xD

  2. Without the continents moving apart from one another through the ages, there would be a lot less diversity in the wildlife species of the world.  Geographic isolation is what "creates" different species in the first place.  These different species fill all the different niches in the environment that need to be filled so that the planet will live and survive in a healthy manner.  Man, and only man, screws this up, and will ultimately destroy the earth with his blatant disregard for all living things, and his careless desire to breed and ignore the devastating effects of overpopulation.

  3. Plate Tectonics is what keeps the plates moving, therefore creating mountains, reefs, and destroying land as well. Because the plates are in motion, old crust is recycled to make new crust, which is needed for life to continue. This also supplies heat to the earth. If the core cools down and solidifies, then there is no plate movement, and no heat for the planets residents. This is what happened to the moon supposedly.

  4. Without plate tectonics we would all still be on the same continent so most species would be extinct. Global warming wouldn't be a concern because there would be no CO2 pollution from volcanoes and everything would be flat which would mean no animals would have evolved with the ability the jump and climb like mountain goats.
