I heard Japanese schools are REALLY strict and teachers

  1. Yep schools are a lot more strict than in the us if  that's where you live, you even clean the school once a day  


  2. One of my teacher lived in Japan as a kid he said it was more strict than the U.S schools but that doesn't take much so that's all I can say.

Some schools are more strict than others.  At my school the teachers are really picky about things like wearing the uniforms properly, being on time, and keeping quiet during school assemblies, but in other ways they're not strict at all.  The students sleep during class all the time, when they're not talking to their friends or even skipping classes to go hand out in thee nurse's office.  Everyday we have cleaning time after school, but the girls just stand around and talk while the boys use their brooms to play baseball.  

    And don't think any of the teachers at my school are mean; there are a couple who are kinda strict and often yell at kids who misbehave, but most of the teachers are rather laid-back and easy-going.
