who would want to get the abuse, go to the carriage office in penton st  n1 1st floor and ask for the forms, this is also where London taxi drivers get tested and get licensed, he will have to take a medical from his own doctor, cost about £100 get a crb report (criminal records bureau ) to see if he's been a naughty boy which he will have to pay for, as far as i know they now ask the area you will be working and have to sit a topographical test of that area in a local centre  the vehicle he is going to use will also have a test to make sure it is safe to carry fare paying passengers also he will need hire and reward insurance which is not cheap and then pay for his license and the vehicle license   after all this bother do the right thing and do the knowledge to become a real cab driver instead of a pretend one money depends who he works for and if he's lazy

He needs to own a filthy old banger, not turn up on time,not know the way to anywhere, and be an expert at overcharging. Oh and have public service vehicle insurance.Or not

the qualifications to be a mini cab driver are rather strict so be careful.

to drive a black cab you have to be able to read and write

to drive a mini cab you just have to know someone who can read or write

if this does not get best answer I will never use a black cab again
