How would my mom write my curriculum to begin homeschooling?

Does she have to write complete details? Like the books I am going to be learning out of or does she just tell them (the school district) the subjects I will be studying?

We want to make sure we get everything right the first time.

  1. I bet you can get the basic needed curriculum from the library


  2. It really depends on what state you are in.  Check out your state laws at http://www.hslda.org

  3. Depends on your state's requirements. Look at www.hslda.org for more info on that, and contact your local support group to ask for specifics. Very often, schools will ask for more than is required because they don't understand homeschooling laws at all (why would they, it's not in their daily realm of work)
