  1. We would never know because we'd be dead.


  2. Many, many more stars in the sky.  The "solar system" - that is the system of planets around our star, Sol, wouldn't necessarily change much.

    Astrologers would have a field day.

  3. instead of asking a question here, why not build a ship then go over there.

  4. The radiation would be higher.  There would be more astronomical events nearby.  The skies would change - there'd be more nearby stars.


  5. We don't want to do that. The traffic is horrible, and gets downright dangerous in the center of town.

    I'm happy with life in the suburbs and our relatively rural setting.


  6. we'd probably be at risk of spaghettification, since it's been hypothesized that there's a block hole at the centre of the milky way (and every other galaxy out there). black holes warp light and mass due to their gravity and if we got too close we'd be stretched molecule by molecule till we pass thru the boundary of the black hole (after which we can only speculate what happens).
