Jindal is even less experienced and less qualified, isn't he? And yet some were saying months ago that he would have been a good choice.

  1. For one, they wouldn't have been able to make sexist comments about Bobby Jindal(!).  We wouldn't have to deal with the constant stupid questions about whether McCain chose Palin to get the "ovary vote."  At least Palin has some executive experience, while Obama has none.

  2. Bobby Jindahl would have been a great choice also. One example is right this moment. Hurricane Gustav is heading towards his state. He has called in the National Guard, set up shelters, arranged for busses and trains to move folks out of Naginville, uh New Orleans. He has a system set up for tracking peoples pets. He's called Ray Nagin and coordinated efforts with the City. He has coordinated with FEMA. The prior Democratic Governor, did none of this. Fought to keep FEMA out until it was too late, for political reasons, and failed to coordinate with the City of New Orleans. FEMA had shortcomings for sure, but the leadership in Louisiana was missing in action. Forethought, planning, working across party lines for the benefit of the good people of the state, that's leadership. So no worries, Bonny Jindahl would have been a great choice, too.
