  1. Sorry to say but recycling can hurt the environment and little children.  Click the link down below and see for yourself.

  2. it will prevent filling up landfills and prevent pollution, global warming and greenhouse gases

  3. Additionally, if you do not recycle plastic, that plastic ends up as garbage. Plastic, depending on the grade, takes many many years to decompose. Even a plastic party cup takes at least 250 years to compose... and that's if it's *not* thrown into the trash; landfills are created to seal away garbage, not to decompose it.

Also, if someone counters with the argument "it doesn't, because it takes way more energy to recycle than it does to create new plastics," please remind them to do their research, as this "fact" is completely dependent on location, the type of materials being recyled, and just how old the "fact" itself is.

  4. go to vbs.tv and watch the videos titled toxic. there are 8 and will show you why it is so important. its actually kind of gross

  5. Recycling a plastic bag have contribute the re-use of the product and it indeed helps save the wildlife and the environment. Carbon Oxide (CO2) is a very serious matter to the environment, which we cannot breathe if we don't recycle plastics.

Recycling is a main contribution to saving the environment and it does benefits the re-use of a product. For example, if I were recycling a plastic bag, it could save about 1 cubic pound of CO2. If I were recycling 500 plastic bags per second, I would have saved 500 cubic pound of CO2 per half a second.

  6. The reason why it saves on carbon emissions is that it takes combustion to make plastic and it takes combustion to shape plastic into whatever its final product is (bottle, bag, car, etc).  Combustion releases CO2 in the air which breaks down the ozone layer, exposing us to greater radiation from the sun.  It also causes respiratory issues since toxic fumes are released during plastic making process.  This doesn't just effect humans, this affects animals as well.
