Since it would be an violation of the rules; how would someone go about asking people to give money, freely, of their own volition; to an charity for the homeless? Without violating the stupid rules?

  1. I would advise people to be very suspicious on people asking for money for a charity online.  There an awfully lot of sham charities, ie. people who are just asking for money and are affiliated with no charities.  Get proof of the charity.

  2. You don't. If you want to make a Charity then find websites and donate to your favorite one. A person just asking for money for a cause , when they are not registered as an organization , is a fraud.

Go do some volunteer work if you want to give back to a community.

  3. Well, I only did this one time for a women that couldn't feed her baby. Although I didn't send her direct money, I sent gift cards to the Gap, The Children's Place, and Stop&Shop. You could ask who would donate money to..... and the people that say they would then e-mail them. Just a thought.

  4. Send a link for the charity.

  5. First off, I would NEVER donate to a representative of an organization that called these rules "stupid." This is a place to ask questions, not to ask for money.

If you have a nonprofit in the USA, you can use http://www.change.org to ask for money. You can promote its services online at any online social networking site, like MySpace or FaceBook. You can have a web site that solicits donations.

Use YahooAnswers/Community Service to ask questions like, "What are the qualities of a charity for the homeless that make you want to donate to it? Or volunteer for it? Or that would make you say that it was doing what it was supposed to do?"

  6. I'm not sure. But I'm ready to give millions of dollars.

  7. Send me $ 100 and I'll tell you :)
