How would someone start off a dating site and make it popular

also, do you think a site that charged people to put pictures of them selves on a site to get rated on looks would work? (this is not the dating site)

to rate would be free, but to put your own pic up would not.

  1. If it was really cheap, possibly. But I know back in the day College Club did that for free, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were other sites that do it for free.

    To start the dating site, you're gonna need a new concept or a new population to target. There are religion based websites, region based, etc. Then you would have a clear target customer and could focus your marketing. I think that would be easier than trying to start a dating site for everyone.


  2. start by taking your heart and throwing it out the window, then just start feeding off the insecurities of others....then for the other site, go to hotornot.com and copy them

  3. Everyone gets one free month.  Renewals are $18 per month if they extend 2 months.  $15 if they sign for a year. You can make this a success. /
