How would the rise in sea levels caused by glaciers melting affect marine life?

About 50% of all marine life is coastal water based. A rise in water would dramatically change tides and coasts so 'everybody' would have to move or die. Depending on the rate the change will happen this will be no problem to..well catastrophic.

It could change salinity which some life is sensitive to. It would also change depth which could affect some life since the intertidal area would be deeper and less light would reach this life, tidal areas would now be underwater so these animals would be affected by remaining below the water line all the time now which exposes them to increased predation etc.
