  1. I hope you have air conditioned accommodation because it really can be very hot in August. I live in the Costa Blanca and it reaches temperatures up to 40 degrees. Phew!!! Very light clothing is all that should be needed but bring a light jacket just in case.

Depending on where you are staying there is an annual fiesta in August called the "Moors & Christians" which is a spectacular procession depicting the reconquest. The costumes are fabulous and you shouldn't miss this. Do a Google search to see if its on where you are staying in Spain.

    Have a good holiday.

  2. Depends where! Southern Spain hits 100 degrees yet northen can have heavy downpours. Alicante and Benidorm windy!!

  3. you have to wear a light weight dress, shiet, skit, trossers and any other atire but all must be light  b'cus the sun will be scurhing.

  4. I have lived on the Costa del Sol for 20 years, and every August I just hide from the heat - it is scorching!! So light cotton clothing, and remember the mosquito spray.(and be careful with little ones on the beach- cover them in cream and t shirts)   ..there is alway a local ' Feria' (Fiesta) throughout the summer in every litttle town and village, and they usually last around 5 days, of partying - horse fairs, music, food, singing and dancing- youwon't be far away from a couple - just ask the locals.

  5. I am going to Spain an August as well and i am hoping that it will be red hot so take plenty of T shirts and shorts and you cant go wrong.

  6. It will be very hot and humid
