How would these sound?

i'm thinking about putting 3 15' rockford punch P2 (500w) into my ford f150. would they sound good?

If you want your truck to sound like a f**t on wheels, they will be perfect!

They would be extremely loud, but in my opinion I do not think they would sound very good.

In car audio there are two main things, sound levels, and sound quality.  With 3 15's in a pickup you would have a very high sound level, but the sound quality most likely would not be very high.  It would be too much bass for the square footage of cabin space.

For your pickup truck I would recommend either 1 15" sub, or 2 10" subs.  

And remember, its not always true that the bigger the sub the better it sounds.  A 10 inch JL Audio 10W7 with proper box and amp, in my opinion would sound better than 3 15's.
