  1. kicker always advices that you use all voice coils of their dvc subs so you could go about it in 2 ways.

1.) wire the voice coils of each sub in series to get an 8 ohm load then wire the subs in parallel to get a 4 ohm load at the amp.

    or...

2.) wire the voice coils of each sub in parallel to get a 2 ohm load then wire the subs in series to get a 4 ohm load at the amp.

i have the cvr 10's and the L7 solos and i like the cvr's more.

if you need more help just send me an email so i could send you the manuals of the subs. wiring and recommended sealed and ported box dimensions are included with the manual as well.

  2. I posted a link to Rockfords wiring wizard tool, it will show you all the possible wiring configurations. You can wire them for a final impedance of 4 ohms or 1 ohms. KICKER amps are not 1 ohm stable so the only way you can wire it is 4 ohms.

You would have been better off with dual 2 ohm speaker so the pair can be wired for 2 ohms final impedance. Those dual 4 ohm CVRs would work better with a 2 channel amp. If you can exchange them for dual 2 ohm you should.
