  1. you can't. Unless the counterfeiter uses a certain code that the fbi is aware of. but if you work in a store/ restaurant you will never find the person who used it.  


  2. Usually, they can't.

    The person who gets 'stuck' with it is out the money.

    As they find more of them from the same 'batch' they

    try to trace them back to the counterfeiter.
