How would this speedbag work?

Just wondering how it would be hung its confusing me. if its hung from the ceiling i couldnt reach it if it was attached to the wall id have no space.

it is screwed to the wall, but i would advise you not to purchase this item. there are a few things you need to consider before purchasing a speed bag setup. the first is the thickness of the drum (the circle board the speed bag hits). this board is obviously thin which means that the drum will shake and it hard to get a good rhythm on it. i made the same mistake of purchasing a cheap speed bag setup and you have to hit the bag twice as hard just to make the bag come back. what i ended up doing is reinforcing the drum with a round piece of wood and placing it on top to secure it a little better, still wobbly though. And secondly, what size bag do you want. if you are a beginner and want a larger sized bag (cause its slower) then is the 24" drum large enough, probably not.  my advice is to spend a little extra and purchase a good speed bag setup cause the cheap ones are completely c**p. and by the way, never by those $100 free standing speed bag/heavy bag combo sets, they're even worse in terms of stability.

it attatches to the wall, if you look closely at the vertical braces they have skrew holes to mount it to the wall.
