How would u act when you see her?

Question

You received a thank you card from a shy girl you work with and she thanked you for being a good friend to her. She said she's glad that she's gotten a chance to get to know you and wanted to thank you for always being there for her and for listening to her even tho she's quiet. You're all off from work for the summer but will be seeing her in a few weeks.

How would u act when you saw her again? Would you be embarrassed? Draw attention to her? Mention the card?

say thanks for the card. tell her you appreciate it

then leave it be, and carry on being a mate as before

I would treat her like a colleague and friend whom she can count on at work. I would definitely not be embarrassed. I would encourage her further to lose her shyness and would be glad if I could be of help to her..  I would say ... "thank you for the card.. no problem, that's normal amongst good work pals xx''

Of course you mention the card!!!  How sweet of you to be so kind to her.  Take her aside when you do see her quietly and thank her so much for the kind words she wrote to you and continue on your journey of being a good and kind person.. Go thank your Mom and Dad for doing such a wonderful job in raising you!
