How would u calculate the frequency of signals with wavelengths of 40m, 5m, and 8cm? (Quick 10pts)...?

  1. If this is EM signals, in free air,

    λf = c = 3*10⁸m/s (speed of light)

    f = c/λ

    f = (3*10⁸m/s)/40m = 7.5 MHz

    f = (3*10⁸m/s)/5m = 60 MHz

    f = (3*10⁸m/s)/0.08m = 3750 MHz = 3.75 GHz

  2. Frequency =  1 / T Hz

    T = the period or wavelength

    therefore    1/40 = 0.025 Hz

                        1/5  =  0.2 Hz

                         1/0.8  = 1.25 Hz
