  1. "ah c**p"

especially when practicing late at night.

    =)

    Saul

  2. 2 sixteenth notes is 'one-and'

    Hope it helps!

  3. One-e-and-a

    two-e-and-a

    three-e-and-a

    four-e-and-a

    Each sylabol is 1 sixteenth

  4. It all depends on the style of the music you are playing and the instrument you play. If you are looking into any music for marching band since the season is about to start, a more staccato method of counting would be better. I recommend:

    one-ti-te-ta (pronounced one-tee-tay-tah)

If you are more into the classical style of playing it is much easier to chose a counting pattern that you can make into the melody of the song. I tend to use:

    one-e-and-a

    two-e-and-a

    three-e-and-a

    four-e-and-a

    one...

etc. (Making each syllable one sixteenth note.)

  5. ummm 4 sixteenth notes is

1 e and uh (or) 1 ah eh ah, 2 ah eh ah...

    but two of them.......

  6. One-e

  7. Hi Poetic,

Break down and subdivide the quarter notes into 4 sixteenth notes and count 1 and 2 and 3 and 4

    Ex:

    1 and 2 and 3 and 4

Play the 2 sixteenth notes on count 1 and 2

Count in the same fashion as a 4 beat tempo.
