How would u feel if one of your kids at the age 16 or under tell u that she or he want to get marry?

would u find that funny? or take that serious and no she is not pregaunt, she is in love?

I would tell them that as soon as they got their college degree, I would be more than happy to pay for their wedding!!

If I had kids...and my daughter told me that she probably wants to get married... I would take that as being serious...now, she wants to get married... if she is really in love, it wont matter at what time she marries right? Then let her wait 'till she is older

I would beg him/her to wait until they are a little older just learning from my experiences.  I wanted to marry at 16 too and then thank goodness I didn't because he ended up leaving me at a bad time and with watching my sisters get married at 16 and their horrible marriages I would just be afraid my kid would have to go through that too at such a young age.  I would beg him/her to at least wait until 18 then see how they felt then.

My great-great grandmother was married at the age of 12 and didn't have her first period until she was 14. She had a baby nine months later.

But that was in 1895. I actually knew my great-great grandma. She died in 1968 at the age of 84.

Had one of my daughters said that before they were 16 I would have thought they were joking.

just explain that she is too young and try to prevent her from having s*x if not too late. just let her know she is too young to know what she wants to do in that situation. teens fall in and out of love to fast and at that age now days it is too young maybe in a year if she still feels the same you can talk bout it more

I got married at 16 and I just wanted to be grown up and I really did not have a clue about love or marriage or being grown up. I agree with the one above who said she can wait if it is true love then it will last forever.
