I'd start looking for the cow, or cows that produced all the milk that was needed.

I understand that there are two independent stories.  In each case, a guy working for NASA ended up with a small bit of Moon dust - from a boot, or garment or something.  This person then brought it home, and showed it to his girlfriend, who promptly ate it.

But at least one of the astronauts reported that Moon dust tastes like spent gunpowder.

The Moon is not made of cheese, however...

There was a paper in Science in the early 70s that used various cheeses as analogs for moon rocks and showed that seismic velocities in moon rocks are closer to thos in certain cheeses (emmenthal - I think) that terrestrial rocks.

It's a highly entertaining paper if you can find it...
