How would u feel if someone that hurt a family (they r going thru a nasty divorce) came to u & expect a hug?

it happen to me saturday during a soccer game and am very disgusted and anger by it. the divorce is with my sister and her ex

Her ex is divorcing her and then asked you for a hug?

Hmmm, why is he divorcing her?  I must point out that there are god reasons to divorce someone, like abuse.

Now, why is he divorcing her?  Is it because he is a jerk or is it because she is one?  

If it is because he is being a jerk, then I would feel disgusted by the whole thing, I would tell him to back off.  Though if he is divocring for a good reason, then I would give him a hug.  I do not believe in the whole 'blood is thinkcer than water' statement, I can say I despise family as much as I do other people and I treat them exactly as I would normal people who according to my respect for them.

He's got to be kidding me.  I would tell him to stay as far away from me as possible, and how dare he expect such a thing from me after what he did to my sister.
