How would u find the critical angle of a core-cladding index combination????

umm the problem is ....

n core = 1.57, n cladding = 1.42

how would i do this??

  1. Theta(crit.) = sine-1 [(n(clad)/n(core)]

    Theta(crit.) = sine-1 [1.42 / 1.57 ] = 64.75 degrees
