How would we say quarks in quantum states(heat),where are they going to keep the absorbed photons?in gluons?

higher level quantum states means more energy absorption,ie; more photon absorption- how it affects quarks? that means quarks are again divisible with particle and medium like gluon?

  1. Technically yes the energy of the photon is incorporated into the energy system of quarks - which is mediated by gluon between quarks. But it does not mean that quarks are divisble any more than electrons are divisble for absorbing a photon.

    Simply, it is the energy of the photon is absorbed and the quarks absorb the energy by converting the photons e+m energy into kinection, probably vibrational, energy - which is mediated by gluons between quarks.

    So yes, the photon mass-energy becomes part of the energy system of the quarks.
