  1. Well it depends what the ocassion is, where its taking place, etc.

For example if you are meeting him at the airport, then you would probably say something like "Bienvenido Señor Martinez" or you can say "Buenas Tardes Señor Martinez" (if its past morning) or "Buenos Dias Señor Martinez" (if its in the morning)

otherwise you can call him "Señor", "Pancho", "Licenziado", "Su Altizima Majestad", "Padre Nuestro" or whatever you wish.

    hope this helps!

  2. You would NOT call him "Senor Martinez"...Martinez is  the last name of his mother. The last name of his father is Perez and is what is called his "apellido."  It is what Americans call his "last" name.  So he sould be addressed as Senor Perez.  The president of Mexico is Felipe Calderon Hinojosa...but he is commonly callled Felipe Calderon....Hinojosa is the last name of his mother, and is not usually used VERBALLY, just when it is written.  It is confusing to Americans . because the "last " name of a Mexican person is not placed last when it is written.
