How would you advertise a design museum?

Without maybe just using posters. Maybe sculptures scattered around a city or something? Or various areas when the public can create art? Any ideas?

Make how to advertise the museum a competition for young designers. Spread the word in design schools aroud the country. You will at least be advertising to people who might be interested in visiting even if you dont come up with a good way of advertising it to the rest of the population.
